“Student Services programs K-12 and at the college level are directed at all students.  Student Services programs assist each student toward health, personal, interpersonal and academic goals emphasizing career development so that each student may graduate and become a productive member of society.  It is imperative that Student Services administrators obtain information about current trends, issues and updates in the legal and regulatory standards facing schools today.  Student Service Administrators must be proactive and take a leadership role in development of safe school programs.  We must emphasis and initiate preventative programs as well as responding appropriately in crisis situations. We must assure all students have access to Student Services programs, personnel and that the process for accessing these services is clear and appropriate for every level of education.”
