NAPSA CONFERENCE IN BILOXI, ANOTHER SUCCESS

Slide Show

The 39 th Annual Conference was held in a warm, inviting community along the Gulf Shores of Mississippi. The theme of this year’s conference, Riding the Tide of Pupil Services, provided conference attendees with important information regarding their profession, as well as opportunities for interaction among themselves and with a talented group of presenters.

Throughout this issue of NAPSA News you will find descriptions of keynote and breakout presentations that made this one of NAPSA’s most memorable conferences. Evaluations completed by conference participants gave rave reviews to the presenters and to the venue.

In addition to the professional growth provided throughout the conference, one of the memorable highlights was the Monday night banquet hosted by NAPSA. This dinner was held at McElroy’s On the Bayou Restaurant in nearby Ocean Springs, MS and featured a selection of local seafood. Providing entertainment throughout the evening was a talented Mississippi Blues group, the Pat Murphy Band. A good time was had by all.

Planning for NAPSA’s 40 th Anniversary Conference October 2-5, 2005 in Chicago is well underway. President-elect John Correll and his Conference Committee are studying the Biloxi Conference evaluations to make Chicago an even better conference. We look forward to seeing you there next October.
