Title: Executive Director; I am also the Founder and Director of In a Pinch, Educational Consulting Services, LLC

What is the most rewarding aspect of your work?

NJAPSA has offered a very vibrant Cohort program for the past 25 years. It brings me such joy to witness the camaraderie that develops throughout the year amongst the cohort participants. One of my many roles consists of organizing the programs annually…from registration, finances, correspondence with participants, and ensuring our meeting locations are set to go for the year. The positive comments and reactions from the participants are exemplary year to year. The many thanks from cohort members and their eagerness to return to our programs is a testimony to what we do as an educational team. Our terrific partnerships with NJPSA and NJASA in creating professional development opportunities for our special education administrators has been extremely fruitful for our organization. We have also memorialized our NJAPSA founder and former NAPSA President Dr. Theodore Kozlik by establishing a memorial scholarship in his honor.

What is the greatest benefit of being a NAPSA member?

NAPSA affords its members the ability to obtain legal services when needed, as well as access to healthcare opportunities. However, the most beneficial aspect of being a NAPSA member is the camaraderie, networking, and support from Pupil Personnel Administrators across the country —which is invaluable.
