What is the most rewarding aspect of your work?
The most rewarding aspect of my work is creating pathways for students to succeed, regardless of the challenges they may face. I have the privilege of supporting programs that serve students across all grade levels, from elementary intervention through alternative education, credit recovery, and adult education. Watching students overcome obstacles, regain confidence, stay connected to their educational goals, and ultimately achieve success is incredibly fulfilling. Knowing that our work helps students realize their potential and positively impacts families, schools, and the community makes this work meaningful every day.
What is the greatest benefit of being a NAPSA member?
The greatest benefit of being a NAPSA member is the opportunity to collaborate and learn from highly respected pupil services professionals from across the country. NAPSA provides a valuable network for sharing best practices, innovative ideas, and effective strategies that help us better serve students and families. The professional relationships, resources, and collective expertise available through NAPSA strengthen my leadership and support continuous improvement in the services we provide to young people.
