What is the most rewarding aspect of your work?

The most rewarding part of my work is knowing that what we do truly impacts students. I love supporting educators, related service personnel, and administrators by providing the training, resources, and support they need to do their jobs well. When we equip the adults, we create better opportunities for every student. Being even a small part of helping all students reach their potential is what makes this work so rewarding.

What is the greatest benefit of being a NAPSA member?

The greatest benefit of being a NAPSA member is being part of a network of professionals who understand the unique challenges and opportunities of special education leadership. It provides a space to collaborate, learn from one another, share ideas, and stay informed about best practices and emerging issues. No one has all the answers, but together we are stronger—and that ultimately benefits the educators we support and, most importantly, the students and families we serve.
