What is the most rewarding aspect of your work?
The most rewarding aspect of my work is developing policies and instituting practices through a lens of advocacy for students and families. This affords me the opportunity to positively impact every student and family in our district, and support all students on their journey from PK through graduation from high school. The best part of my work is watching our students cross the stage with a diploma in hand and a plan for the future!
What is the greatest benefit of being a NAPSA member?
The greatest benefit of being a NAPSA member is that it provides me with easy access to valuable resources and timely updates/information pertinent to Student Services. This is critical since the landscape of our work is ever-changing. NAPSA also provides the opportunity to develop a network of trusted peers who understand our work and can serve as consultants when working through challenging situations.
