What is the most rewarding aspect of your work?
Though it is hard to pick just one aspect of my work, I believe some of the most rewarding times are when we have worked together to develop programming that increases student and family access to services, which in turn has positively impacted a student’s social emotional well-being and academic success. I would like to believe that my work helps build capacity in our staff so that it is our culture to continue to develop equitable quality programming for all members of our school community.
What is the greatest benefit of being a NAPSA member?
The resources and networking opportunities have been invaluable, even more so during the pandemic. I truly have appreciated the ability to reach out to colleagues across the country in order to share ideas and learn from their experiences.
