The National Association of School Nurses offers an educational activity titled Immunization 101: A primer on school-recommended vaccinations, which provides school nurses a primer or refresher on school-required child/adolescent vaccinations.
All states have vaccination requirements for children attending schools. These requirements are important tools for maintaining high vaccination coverage and low rates of vaccine-preventable diseases. This program is designed to help in this process.
Upon completion, participants will receive 1.0 NCPD contact hours, and there is no cost for NASN members.
