What is the most rewarding aspect of your work?
I am so fortunate to work in a district that values the whole child. We not only focus on the academics but also the Social Emotion and mental health needs of our students. The most rewarding aspect of my work is going into classrooms and buildings and observing first hand the relationships staff and students have with each other, and the energy all staff put into making sure a child is taken care of, not only what the child needs but also the family. We are truly a community.
What is the greatest benefit of being a NAPSA member?
The ability to network with others outside of Ohio. It helps to not only know we are all battling the same issues but to get perspectives outside of those around me.
